Using the ancient Japanese art of Shibori we painstakingly hand-dyed denim to form the outer shell, mimicking the look of Lava. The inner-lining is also Shibori dyed on 100% cotton because it wicks away moisture while kissing your face. Construction of the Grace X Mask
We are strongly drawn to the concept of a sophisticated mask that will protect while it gets better with age. It’s about an obsession with quality and the unique craftsmanship of Japanese denim as well as the American contribution of what we now think of as classic denim.
We make our masks with those standards in mind, from our fabric choices to the quality of the stitching. Our special molded design fits the face allowing for better airflow and breathe-ability for the wearer. Included is in the design is a nose wire pocket for easy replacement. Aluminum nose wires break after about 40 bends so we added 3 extra nose wires. A good filter pocket is always a plus. Add the available matching Shibori hand-dyed 4 layer filter and you are good to go! This mask is the ultimate in mask safety, comfort and style.
